Battlesbridge is a small village renowned for it's antique centre which is housed in the Old Granary. It is located at the end of the navigable River Crouch. South of Rettendon and north of Rawreth.
It is only a couple of minutes from the A130.
There is a garden centre and some small industrial units on the south side of the River Crouch which runs through the centre of the village.
There are a number of antique shops scattered around the village
There are two pubs, The Barge Inn and The Hawk. Both pubs have good size car parks and serve food.
There is a cafe (Willow Cafe) at the top of the antiques centre, with stunning views over the village and surrounding countryside.
In the bottom picture you can see Skee-Tex a supplier of ski and fishing equipment.
The Motorcycle Museum opens on Sundays.
There are a number of Motorcycle and car shows held here during the year.
It has a railway station operated by National Express, East Anglia.
